When Robert De Niro talks, you listen.
The 76-year-old issued a warning to his fellow New Yorkers about staying home and practicing social distancing amid the coronavirus, and gave movie fans a little treat while he was at it!
De Niro says in the vid:
“We all need to stay home. We need to stop the spread of this virus and we can only do it together, not just to protect ourselves but to protect others and all the older people you love. Please.”
He concluded the brief PSA with an homage to his Meet the Parents character, Jack Byrnes, who says in the flick:
“I’m watching you!”
Obviously, fans loved it! New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who posted the video to Twitter, added the caption:
“Robert De Niro is watching you. Stay home. Save lives.”
