Danny DeVito wants you to practice social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic

Fan-favorite Danny DeVito is among the most recent celebrities to urge people to stay inside and practice social distancing during the coronavirus outbreaks.

The actor from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia asked people from “the bottom of his heart” to stay home. He pointed out that older people, like himself, are at risk.

“Please, do us a favor, all of us, and stay home, not spread this virus around,” he said. “Watch a little TV why don’t ya!”

The video of DeVito was uploaded on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Twitter account.

It appears America has a soft spot for the actor because people took the warning very seriously.

“Protect Danny at all costs,” Twitter user @GideonResnick wrote.

It’s not exaggerating to say people really, really love DeVito.

“I swear to God if one of you kills Danny DeVito,” Twitter user @ByChrisMason captioned the coronavirus video.

Although DeVito was definitely the crowd favorite, other actors submitted coronavirus videos for the New York governor to use. Actor Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro also emplored people to stay indoors.

“I got a message for all you young people out there who think that it’s business as usual. It’s not,” Stiller said in his video.

We’re hoping that this time the coronavirus recommendations stick with people–at least for the DeVito’s sake.
